    • Responsibile for directing, organizing, and supervising the work of their nursing staff.
    • Coordinate nursing efforts to ensure that effective patient care is being provided and that quality standards are met.
    • Developing educational programs, contributing to staff professional development 
    • Interviewing and hiring nurses and medical staff
    • Ensure the staff is properly trained
    • Complete weekly schedules


    • Graduate from an accredited program for Register and/or Certification Medical Assistants or an accredited school of nursing
    • A current and unencumbered MA Certification through a sanctioned third-party, such as The American Registry of Medical Assistants, National Healthcareer Association, American Association of Medical Assistants, National Center for Competency Testing, or American Medical Technologist or a state Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
    • 1 year of supervisory or management experience 
    • Orthopaedic experience is preferred
